Dietisa® Mega Hepatic 60Caps is a food supplement based on milk thistle extract, a plant that helps protect the liver and maintain normal liver function.

Milk thistle contains silymarin as an active component, which has beneficial properties for the liver, protecting it from oxidation and helping to detoxify it.

Instructions for use

Dietary supplements should be taken in the context of a varied and balanced diet and as part of an active lifestyle. It is recommended to take 2 capsules a day in a single dose after a meal.

Composition

Loading agent: microcrystalline cellulose, 80% milk thistle dry extract silymarin (silybum marianum l. (gaerth), seeds): 250 mg (200 mg silymarin), choline citrate: 146 mg (50 mg choline), l-methionine: 100 mg, anti-caking agents: calcium salts of ac. Orthophosphoric acid, silicon dioxide and magnesium salts of fatty acids. Vegetable capsule: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, dye: titanium dioxide.

Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) is a plant that contains silymarin, a mixture of several substances and is widely studied for digestive and liver care. It also provides flavonoids with an antioxidant effect and fatty acids such as linoleic, oleic and palmitic acids.

As a dietary supplement (in capsules, tablets or herbal teas) and/or combined with other plant extracts, it helps to stimulate bile production and has a protective effect on the liver, facilitating toxin elimination. It helps to improve heavy digestion or dyspepsia.

It has been used to prevent and support the treatment of liver damage caused by toxins such as alcohol or overeating, and as an aide to treatment with drugs that are metabolised in the liver. This should be advised by a healthcare professional.

Because of silymarin's anti-inflammatory power, milk thistle extract also has cosmetic applications: it is an antioxidant that helps soothe the skin and reduces redness.
