- Irrigation of uninjured body surfaces
- Nasal nebulization
The physiological serum, an isotonic solution of 0.9% sodium chloride (NaCl), is used for:
- Nebulization in the treatment of certain respiratory conditions
- It can be used alone or in combination with medications for targeted administration
This serum is also indicated for the irrigation of uninjured body surfaces, such as cleaning dirty skin. However, it is not suitable for application on wounds.
