Transparent dressing that helps provide comfort. They are transparent and sterile hydrogel dressings (with or without adhesive border) for single use, consisting of a polymer of hydrated polyurethane with glycerin.
The dressing can:
- Release moisture and absorb a limited amount of exudate, thus providing a moist environment for the wound.
- Have a stimulating effect on wound healing, due to the high water content of approximately 60%.
- Estimate granulation and epithelialization.
It is transparent and provides a trauma-free dressing change. Additionally, it is covered with a semi-permeable layer to prevent the penetration of bacteria.
