The iHealth PT3 has 3 sensors: an ultra-sensitive infrared sensor that measures the infrared energy emitted by the forehead and collects more than 100 data points per second; a distance sensor that ensures that measurements are taken within 3 cm of the forehead to avoid errors and an ambient temperature sensor, which detects changes in the ambient temperature in real time to reduce its impact and ensure the accuracy of the measurement.

All this with a single button. Silent. No cross-contamination or spread of germs throughout the home. The non-contact thermometer is 100% safe and hygienic. Exposing thermometers to extreme temperatures or excessive humidity is not advisable, as this may affect measurement accuracy. Leaving the thermometer at room temperature for at least half an hour before use is recommended.
