Herbal tea based on senna, horsetail, fucus, fennel and frangula, which has a laxative effect. It is indicated to help treat chronic constipation. It is also helpful in diets, along with a balanced and varied diet and a healthy and active life. The laxative effect manifests itself 8 to 12 hours after ingestion, so it is recommended to take after dinner.
Presented in a pack of 25 individual sachets.
- Place the sachet in a cup and pour boiling water.
- Infuse for 3 to 5 minutes with the cup covered.
Senna (Cassia Augustifolia [leaf and follicle]), Horsetail, Fucus, Fennel, Fangula.
Senna is a plant widely known for its laxative properties. It contains substances (sennosides), that are responsible for these properties. Dietary supplements containing senna extract can be used for occasional constipation. However, it is important to stress this occasional use: use for more than a week is not recommended without supervision from a healthcare professional.
This plant is not indicated in cases of inflammatory colon diseases or abdominal pain. If in doubt, it is best to consult a professional. Excessive use of this plant can cause intestinal mucosa irritation and/or a drop in potassium levels in the blood, that may have further effects on overall health.
