Description

Iswari Xylitol powder, a vegan product also called birch sugar, is a natural sweetener extracted from the bark of the birch tree, which is why it is also called wood sugar. It has been used as a sweetener since the late 1960's and is very popular in the USA and Finland. It contains about 40% fewer calories than conventional sugar and provides less glucose in the blood. Another benefit of its use is that it does not cause tooth decay, and can even help prevent it by reducing the bacterial flora.
