It's an oil, so it's greasy but not sticky on clothes. The fragrance is not unpleasant, although I could do without it. I started using it 5 months into my pregnancy, so I can't judge its effectiveness since I've only been using it for a few days. On the other hand, spraying a second time if you didn't put enough on the first time without washing your hands again quickly becomes an ordeal as it's greasy and slippery. And the spraying principle means you're quick to spray everywhere you shouldn't, such as the floor and clothes.
