Description

Adjuvant ointment indicated to reduce muscle stiffness and muscle contractures. Provides immediate relief, emollience and softness to the skin, it is perfect for chiromassage. Reduces inflammation and bruises that appear in the area of the blow. It is made with the following ingredients: Peppermint essential oil, Ginkgo Biloba, Harpagofito, Thymol, Menthol.

Instructions for use

-Apply the ointment with the fingertips and spread over the muscle areas to be treated.

-Massage until absorbed.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Menthol is a compound extracted from plants such as peppermint (Mentha x Piperita) and can also be manufactured synthetically. As an ingredient in gels, creams and lotions for topical application, it has a well-known cooling effect, as well as being a mild antiseptic and analgesic. These properties make it suitable for mitigating joint and muscle discomfort in the context of exercise or daily wellness.

It is also used as an ingredient in cosmetics that can help to refresh and soothe the itching caused by eczema or dermatitis. In hair products, such as shampoos, it provides freshness. And in the oral health category, it is often present in toothpaste and mouthwashes, as it will contribute to a fresh breath.

In case of allergy to the substance, chronic respiratory diseases, and in young children, do not use products with menthol and consult a healthcare professional.
