In the Uji region, the Nagata family still traditionally cultivates the plants used to make their excellent Kukicha tea.

Containing zinc, antioxidants and flavonoids, it is highly valued for its ability to remineralise and alkalize the body.

It is a tea widely used in macrobiotics and low in theine.
