Description

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Dermo-Pediatrics Gel Wet Skin SPF50+ 250ml is a rapidly absorbed gel sunscreen cream for sensitive skin of children, babies or sun-intolerant skin.

It contains very high and photostable UVA/UVB protection(SPF50) and its texture is easy to apply and non-greasy. In addition, it strengthens the skin thanks to its composition containing the patented Mexoryl XLY system with soothing action.

Its application leaves no white marks when applied to wet skin, protects body and face and resists water and sweat. Dermatologically tested.

Instructions for use

  • Apply the product before exposure.
  • Renew generously and frequently, especially after bathing or drying.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure for babies and children.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Using sunscreen is essential to protect and prevent UVA and UVB rays from penetrating the skin. The sun filters included in sunscreen create a barrier on the skin that protects it from irritation, burns, allergies and redness. Babies and infants need special attention, as their skin is not able to fully synthesise melanin and is more fragile. It is especially important to use high protection factor sunscreen with anti-UVA filters that are water-resistant. For sunscreen with maximum effectiveness, it must be applied in appropriate quantities and spread evenly over the entire surface of the skin, applying it every 2 hours, after bathing or sweating.

It is also important to avoid exposure to the sun in the middle of the day (from noon to 16:00) and it is advisable to use dietary supplements to boost sunscreen. Using aftersun is also advisable so that the skin recovers moisture and maintains its natural antioxidants. If you are taking photosensitising medication or have a skin condition, it is particularly important to follow these recommendations. If you develop blisters, fever, or a headache after sun exposure, consult your doctor.

Excessive sun exposure is a health hazard. Do not stay in the sun too long, even if you use a sunscreen product, as it does not protect you 100%, nor against heatstroke. Children and babies: direct sun exposure is not recommended. For children under 6 (six) months, consult a doctor. How to use: Apply the product generously immediately before sun exposure. Reapply frequently and generously to maintain protection, especially after swimming, sweating, or towel drying. If the amount applied is inadequate, the level of protection will be significantly reduced. Keep out of reach of children. For external use. Do not apply directly to the face. Before using it, spray it into the palms of your hands. Avoid contact with the eyes, as it may cause irritation. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water. Avoid contact with fabrics. Apply sunscreen at least 10 minutes before getting dressed. Discontinue use if signs of irritation or rash appear.
