CHARACTERISTICS - As a lotion: lavender water helps to purify oily and problem skin. Combined with tea tree essential oil. Ladrôme Provençale floral waters are obtained by slow and prolonged steam distillation of the flowers or leaves of plants, most of them organically grown. The flowers or leaves are introduced into the distiller or still. The essential oil-laden vapor is then condensed in a coil cooled by a stream of cold water. The water becomes floral when it is charged with essential oil microparticles and perfumed active ingredients. The distilled water and the essential oil are separated in the essencier by density difference. Distillation is thus carried out according to the rules of the art, leaving the water highly charged with aromatic principles.
