Before starting eye makeup, apply a primer to smooth and soften the eyelid. To achieve a professional finish look, use three different shades of eye shadow from the same range and match each other: a main shade, a lighter shade to illuminate and a darker shade to intensify. Apply the main shade on the eyelid and extend it, apply the darker shade from where the eyelid bone ends (at the outer corner of the eye) to the outer corner of the eye, and finally, apply the lighter shade on the tear trough area and under the eyebrow arch.
