Mepilex Border Flex Oval Adhesive Sterile Dressing 15x19cm 16pcs are self-adhesive hydrocellular silicone dressings in an oval shape, for the treatment of exudative wounds.
It is a hypoallergenic dressing that absorbs exudate and allows for the treatment of wounds in a moist environment.
Recommended for the treatment of numerous exudative wounds, such as:
Pressure ulcers
Foot and leg ulcers
Traumatic wounds (e.g. skin tears)
Surgical wounds
Box of 16 dressings of 15 x 19cm.
Steps to apply a bandage:
Clean the wound and carefully dry the perilesional skin.
Choose the appropriate size so that the bandage pad covers the wound and extends beyond the perilesional skin by at least 1 to 2 cm (the bandage should not be cut).
Remove the first protective sheet or the central protective sheet.
Apply the bandage with the adhesive side over the wound.
Remove the remaining protective sheet or the 2 side protective sheets, place and smooth the edges over the skin (do not stretch).
