Description

Stabilising splint of the first CMC joint. It has been designed by Orliman to fulfill the function of properly position and stabilize the thumb of the right hand. It leaves the mobility of the other fingers and the functionality of the hand free, which guarantees the gripping function. Size 2 covers a circumference of 19 to 23cm at the metacarpophalangeal joints. Near the fingers it is flexible and has rounded edges for greater comfort in use. In the area of the trapezo-metacarpal joint is a little harder, as it incorporates a metal core for proper stabilization. Provides support and comfort, helps relieve pain and symptoms associated with loss of strength. Recommended for adults in cases of conditions of the first CMC joint and post-surgical treatment of the same.
