It is a cervical collar made of polyurethane foam. It has a height of 6 to 11cm and this size is for contours of 40 to 44cm. Its design is ergonomic and has a velcro back closure. The outer cover is made of cotton. It is indicated for mild trauma of bone and soft parts, such as transverse and spinous processes and cervical whips. Orliman recommends it in cases of torticollis, cervicobrachialgia, degenerative or rheumatic diseases, compressive syndromes and in the cases prescribed by doctors. It must be well positioned without being too tight and must allow swallowing without difficulty. It should not be worn all day or sleep with it. It is advisable not to make efforts or sports with it. It is not advisable to apply manual therapies such as massages or acupuncture until the specialist allows it.
