Pharmaceutical Advice

Peppermint essential oil (Mentha piperita) has toning properties. Its antispasmodic effect calms indigestion and nausea, as well as travel sickness. Its analgesic properties help to alleviate pain caused by trauma, tendinitis, sciatica, rheumatic diseases, headaches or neuralgia. It also has a cooling effect and antiseptic properties.

It can be used on the skin, internally (if indicated on the label), or in baths, in strict compliance with the dosage indicated by the manufacturer.

This essential oil is not indicated during pregnancy, lactation, for children under 6 years, for people with kidney conditions, in case of allergy, asthma, people with a history of epilepsy or convulsions, or with heart conditions such as hypertension or arrhythmia.
