The hydrogel contained in the dressing is obtained from certain algae. It acts as a rehydrating agent for the area to be treated and has a high capacity to absorb liquids that may ooze from wounds. It allows to clean all kinds of ulcers and wounds in the right way. Before applying it, it is necessary to clean the ulcerated area with saline and then dry it carefully. Coloplast hydrogel should only be applied to the wound to be treated, without going beyond the edges. The dressing can remain on the wound for even more than three days, although depending on the type of injury it is advisable to renew it every day, after cleaning the wound. To remove the gel from the wound, you can use saline solution.
