Due to the high content of vitamin D3, it is not indicated for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as the daily intake during pregnancy and lactation should not exceed 600 U.I. of vitamin D. At high doses and in prolonged treatments, hypercalcemia may occur, which can be avoided by adjusting the dose.

Vitamin D may interact with the aluminum in some antacid preparations, so it is recommended to separate the intake of both. Special monitoring is recommended for patients undergoing treatment with cardiac glycosides. Its use requires special caution in patients with renal insufficiency or kidney stones.
