Xailin Intense 0.3 10ml

Xailin Intense 0.3 10ml is an ocular moisturising eye drop with a 0.3% hyaluronic acid solution, free from preservatives and phosphates. It is designed to provide intense hydration to the eyes and relieve dryness caused by adverse environmental factors, such as dry eye, the sensation of having a foreign body in the eye, or stinging, as well as after eye surgery. These eye drops are recommended for cases of low tear production (dry eye syndrome), which manifests with symptoms such as dry eyes, stinging, or eye fatigue. These symptoms can be triggered by working in front of a screen, watching television for long periods, being exposed to dry air from heating or air conditioning, or tobacco smoke. It may also be useful after eye surgery or an eye injury, as constant hydration is crucial for the proper regeneration of ocular structures. Xailin Intense contains a high concentration of sodium hyaluronate, which keeps the cornea and conjunctiva of the eye hydrated for an extended period. This viscoelastic liquid has hygroscopic properties and acts as a natural lubricant, forming a stable hydrating film on the surface of the eye. A single application provides lasting relief for those suffering from dry eye or who wear contact lenses. These eye drops are indicated for adults and children over 1 month old. Its composition includes sodium hyaluronate at 0.3%, glycerin, sodium chloride, boric acid, sodium tetraborate, calcium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, and highly purified water. It is easy to use and contains no preservatives or phosphates.

Hyaluronic acid is able to absorb up to 1,000 times its own weight in water. It is therefore a very interesting ingredient for combating dry eyes. Its moisturising effect acts on the cornea and helps to lubricate the eye, compensating for the lack of tear production. This is why hyaluronic acid is considered to be one of the most powerful moisturisers, capable of alleviating dry eye issues. On the other hand, it is also a useful substance as an adjuvant in some eye infections such as conjunctivitis, irritation, inflammation or other common problems such as sties.
