Traditionally, desmodium is ideal for cleansing and purifying the body during excessive use of alcohol or fats. This plant will thus alleviate difficult digestion and hepatobiliary disorders. It is particularly appreciated for its virtues on the proper functioning of the liver and digestive system. This plant has at its tip violet petals with white tones. But it is its leaves that are used in herbal medicine.

Desmodium leaf is prepared in a decoction of 10 grams per liter for 10 minutes. It is recommended to drink 3 cups a day before meals.
