Adhesive hydrocellular dressing designed for sacrum

Description

Adhesive hydrocellular dressing specially designed for the sacrum for the treatment of moderate to highly exudative wounds. Provides a moist wound healing environment that promotes the healing process. Absorbs exudate in a controlled manner, favouring the generation of a moist environment in the lesion that promotes the healing process. Bacterial barrier that prevents the entry of microorganisms, thus preventing infectious processes in the lesions. It is breathable, allowing gas exchange. With beveled edges that favour the adaptation of the dressing to the area where it is placed and prevents detachment. Hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive, which allows adequate adhesion to the perilesional skin without causing trauma during removal. It is easily applied, thanks to the transporting films that facilitate its placement in any area. It allows the patient to lead a normal life, being able to perform activities such as daily hygiene without the need to change the dressing.

Instructions for use

Clean the application site. The skin around the wound should be clean, dry and free of excess hair. Choose an appropriate dressing size. The absorbent pad should cover the entire wound or area to be protected. Remove the first part of the protective paper and apply the adhesive side of the dressing to the skin. Remove the rest of the protective paper. Smooth the dressing. Ensure that the absorbent pad covers the wound. Ensure that there are no folds that could compromise the seal. The dressing can be repositioned if necessary.
