Avène Solar Spray SPF50+ Pediatric 200 ml is a facial and body sunscreen for children. It is water-resistant and helps protect the skin thanks to its UVB and UVA protection provided by the Sunsitive Protection® filtering system.

Additionally, like all products in the Avène range, it includes a dose of thermal water in its formulation that helps revitalize cellular development and soothe irritated skin. This sunscreen spray is suitable for sun-sensitive skin, as well as any type of skin exposed to intense sunlight.

Ideal for children. Fragrance-free, it leaves no residue on the skin.

• Apply at least 20 minutes before sun exposure.

• Reapply every 2 hours, after bathing, after physical activity, or after sweating, or whenever necessary.

Using sunscreen is essential to protect and prevent UVA and UVB rays from penetrating the skin. The sun filters included in sunscreen create a barrier on the skin that protects it from irritation, burns, allergies and redness. Babies and infants need special attention, as their skin is not able to fully synthesise melanin and is more fragile. It is especially important to use high protection factor sunscreen with anti-UVA filters that are water-resistant. For sunscreen with maximum effectiveness, it must be applied in appropriate quantities and spread evenly over the entire surface of the skin, applying it every 2 hours, after bathing or sweating.

It is also important to avoid exposure to the sun in the middle of the day (from noon to 16:00) and it is advisable to use dietary supplements to boost sunscreen. Using aftersun is also advisable so that the skin recovers moisture and maintains its natural antioxidants. If you are taking photosensitising medication or have a skin condition, it is particularly important to follow these recommendations. If you develop blisters, fever, or a headache after sun exposure, consult your doctor.
