Kit for irrigation and nasal rinsing

Description

Irrigation kit. Sachets of salts to be dissolved in water are used for irrigation and deep cleaning of the nasal cavity. Irrigation is possible thanks to a reusable device, equipped with two tips that allow administration to adults and children from 4 years.

Each kit contains: 1 bottle equipped with a valve button to press to allow the contents to flow, 1 curved tube to screw onto the bottle, 2 tips: one is designed for adults (conical tip), the other for children (round tip). 10 sachets of single-use salts of 2.5 g each, made of 3 pharmaceutical grade mineral salts (sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, potassium sulfate).

Instructions for use

Fill the bottle with lukewarm water (bottled water or tap water previously boiled and then cooled) up to the line ""250ml"".

- Pour the contents of one sachet of RHINICLEAN® salts into the bottle.

- Screw the white tube into the bottle with the appropriate tip (adult or child).

- Hold the device horizontally, tilt it upwards and shake gently until completely dissolved.

- Place the tip at the entrance of the nostril and administer the volume recommended in the instructions into each nostril by pressing the valve button (hold the mouth open).

For adults and children over 6 years of age: half the volume in each nostril. For children aged 4 to 6 years: one quarter of the volume in each nostril (approximately 60 mL). Discard the rest. It is recommended to check the integrity and cleanliness of the nasal irrigation kit (in particular the condition of the surface of the tips) before use.

In case of rhinitis (including nasopharyngitis), allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, rhinosinusitis and in post-operative care: 1 to 3 uses per day. In case of nasal dryness or nasal hygiene: 1 use per day. For long-term use (more than 6 months), 1 use every 2-3 days is recommended. After each use: Disassemble the device. Wash with soapy water and then rinse each part of the device with clean water. It is possible to use a cotton swab to reach the less accessible areas. Allow to air dry and store the device in its box.

Note: Insufficient cleaning or drying may result in microbiological contamination that can cause or aggravate disease. Store the device and salt packets in the box in a clean, dry place.

Decontamination: For hygienic reasons, it is possible to decontaminate the tube and tips by immersing them in boiling water every week. This procedure should not be applied to the vial.
