Description

If your hair itches, your scalp flakes and your hair shows signs of oiliness, it's because you don't use the most appropriate treatment to clean it;

Citia anti-scaling shampoo is an anti-scaling treatment that manages to control the processes of seborrheic dermatitis, dry pitriasis or dandruff. Thanks to its soft cleansing base, it manages to provide a delicate cleansing on your scalp, leaving the root completely cleansed;

It contains two active ingredients, ichthyol and pyroctone olamine, which together act as cleansers and repairers of the scalp. You will notice your hair silkier and with much more felxibility.

Don't let your hair look sloppy!

Instructions for use

Apply to wet hair and gently rub the scalp until you get a rich lather. Rinse with warm water and repeat if necessary. Its use should be continued after the initial improvement, to maintain the benefit.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
