The use of chicory is especially beneficial for the digestive system, to exert a tonic effect on this and stimulate the secretion of gastric juices, thus relieving the work of the liver, being indicated therefore in case of heavy digestions and liver failure. It also has a slight laxative and vermifuge action (expulsion of intestinal parasites). It promotes circulation, lowers blood pressure and can reduce heart rate. Among the active ingredients that has chicory, highlights the inulin, choline, tannins, minerals and vitamins such as B, C, K and P. These active ingredients are found in greater concentration in the root of the plant.

Infusion, boil water and pour 5 gr., let it stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
