Description

Dietary supplement that significantly increases the immune response of the body. The correlated compound of active hexose (AHCC) is a nutritional supplement produced from the mycelium of shiitake mushrooms that contains a blend of polysaccharides, amino acids, and minerals.

AHCC and the beta-glucans from M-Gard act as immunostimulants, enhancing the defense mechanisms against pathogens such as:

  • Bacteria
  • Viruses
  • Fungi

Scientific studies have shown that both compounds exert immunomodulatory effects in vitro and in vivo in human models.

Instructions for use

Dietary supplements should be taken in the context of a varied and balanced diet and as part of an active lifestyle. Take 2 capsules a day, one in the morning and one in the evening.

Composition

AHCC®-Standard-FG (shiitake extract (Lentinula edodes, mycelium, >10% α-glucans), fully hydrogenated rapeseed oil, dextrin, stabilizer (cellulose), α-cyclodextrin), 500 mg; M-GardTM (beta-glucans (β-1,3/1,6-glucans) from Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast), 60 mg; Immunel (nucleotides 60% from brewer's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae)), 60 mg; calcium L-ascorbate (82.64% vitamin C), 33.3 mg. Technological excipient: magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent), s.s. Coating: polysaccharide of vegetable origin (pululan).

Brewer's yeast is one of the best-known nutritional supplements. It is obtained from cereal fermentation, such as barley. It tends to have a bitter aftertaste, so it is processed into de-bitterised yeast. It is available as a powder or in flakes, that can be added directly to food, or in tablet or capsule form.

It is very high in fibre and proteins of high biological value, especially rich in the amino acid lysine, and it contains glutathione, a tripeptide with antioxidant properties. It also contains B vitamins and several minerals, such as selenium, calcium, zinc and iron.

As a source of vitamins, minerals and amino acids, supplementation with brewer's yeast supports hair, skin and nail care. Minerals such as zinc and selenium support proper immune system function and fibre supports bowel movement.
