Product details

Cold/Hot Gel Pack thermal therapy for muscle and joint injuries is a device designed for the application of cryotherapy and thermotherapy as support in the local management of pain, inflammation, and functional recovery. It is indicated for people with muscle injuries, joint discomfort, contractures, or headaches, allowing the thermal treatment to be adapted according to the therapeutic need of each situation.

Benefits of Reusable Cold/Hot Gel Pack are based on the therapeutic action of cold to control acute inflammatory processes and heat to relieve stiffness, muscle tension, and localized pain.

  • Cryotherapy indicated as support in the rehabilitation of sprains, muscle tears, and injuries with inflammation.
  • Helps reduce edema and bruising through localized vasoconstriction and control of the inflammatory response.
  • Contributes to headache relief through localized cold application.
  • Thermotherapy useful in the prevention and recovery of muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries.
  • Helps relieve muscle contractures, low back pain, rheumatism, and cervical stiffness through a relaxing heat effect.
  • Can provide local relief in menstrual discomfort and functional abdominal pain.
  • Reusable format for multiple therapeutic applications according to clinical need.

COLD GEL PACK – CRYOTHERAPY Place the compress in the freezer. The gel remains stable up to a temperature of -20ºC. If the compress is too rigid when taken out of the freezer, wait a few minutes before applying it to the skin. If necessary, place a cloth between the skin and the compress to avoid frostbite. HOT GEL PACK – THERMOTHERAPY Place the compress in an 800W microwave for a maximum of 1 minute and 30 seconds. Before and after heating the compress, flatten and knead it so that the temperature of the gel is uniform across its surface. If you require a higher temperature, heat the compress for an additional 10 seconds, allowing an interval of at least 30 seconds each time until you reach the desired temperature. Wait an additional 30 seconds before removing the compress from the microwave. The compress should not be heated in the microwave for longer periods than indicated as it may burn. The compress should not be heated in boiling water or in a conventional oven.
