Sterile dressings from the Mölnlycke brand Mepitel® line, designed to gently conform to the skin without adhering to the moist wound bed for removal with minimal risk of damage to the wound or skin. Safetac also protects new tissue and intact skin to promote undisturbed healing. In addition, it seals the wound margins to protect the skin from maceration.
It features perforations to allow exudate to pass through to an absorbent secondary dressing. It can also be left in place, allowing the application of topical treatments.
