Description

Ozone oils retain many beneficial properties of ozone: moisturising, antioxidant, sanitising, regenerating, healing, soothing and restorative, among others. Moisturising: benefits the maintenance of the hydrolipidic film of the skin, providing an optimal state of hydration in it. Anti-inflammatory: Helps to reduce inflammation and swelling of the skin as it inhibits the inflammatory cascade and the synthesis of cellular mediators. Sanitising: The anti-microbial activity helps prevent the skin from being easily over-infected with bacteria, viruses and fungi. Antioxidant: Protects against free radicals, delaying skin aging. Improves the functioning of the skin's repair mechanisms. Stimulates the immune system. Healing: Recovers the skin and oxygenates it. Collaborates in the regeneration of the epidermis. Avoids postlesional hyperpigmentation. Soothing: Relieves itching, itching and irritation of the skin.

Instructions for use

Ozonated oils are the result of the reaction of ozone with fatty acids and other substrates present in some vegetable oils, such as olive or coconut oil. These transformed oils are highly valued in the formulation of cosmetic products, due to their great capacity to regenerate tissues, which is why they are usually used in serums or creams with a restorative action. They have antiseptic, soothing and antioxidant properties.

They help to activate microcirculation and improve cell metabolism, revitalising the skin. Ozonated oil also increases the activity of fibroblasts, which are responsible for producing elastin and collagen, making the skin smoother and more elastic.

Occasionally, some ozonated oils are used as ingredients in dietary supplements. In particular olive, sunflower and coconut oils, are used for their antioxidant properties. Before taking a supplement with these qualities, consult a professional to find out if it is suitable for you.
