Description

El aceite de almendras es conocido por ser altamente hidratante, antiinflamatorio y suavizante para la piel. También contribuye a aportar una elasticidad natural a la piel. Es el aceite vegetal base por excelencia para formular cualquier mezcla en aromaterapia. Se recomienda para hidratar la piel de los niños y bebés y para evitar la formación de estrías durante el embarazo. Apto para personalizar su efecto y mezclarlo con aceites esenciales. Por cada cucharada sopera de aceite de almendras, se pueden añadir hasta ocho gotas de aceites esenciales.
Uso exclusivo cutáneo.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Sweet almond oil is a versatile vegetable oil with skin and hair care benefits. As its name suggests, it is obtained from pressing ripe, dried sweet almond seeds.

It is rich in omega-9 fatty acids (such as oleic acid) and omega-6 fatty acids (including linoleic acid). It also provides vitamin E. All these antioxidant and lipidic components provide the skin with a high level of nutrition, as well as a soothing, emollient and anti-inflammatory effect. Sensitive, dry, devitalised and prematurely ageing skin are good candidates to benefit from the cosmetic use of this oil.

It can be used pure or as part of a cosmetic product formulated with other ingredients. It has several functions: on the one hand, it is an excellent make-up remover for sensitive skin. It also helps to maintain hydration and soothe irritated skin, which is why we find it in many baby nappy creams.
