Thanks to their diversity and properties, essential oils are a powerful therapeutic ally. They bring, without doubt, great benefits in the field of health, cosmetics and well-being, helping in case of daily disorders that affect sleep, intestinal transit, respiratory system, skin, etc.
Whether in massage, orally, in environmental diffusion, the important thing is to use them properly. They contain powerful phytoactive substances that require rigor in their use. The dosage, the duration of treatment and the route of administration indicated by each manufacturer must be strictly respected. For each essential oil in particular, read the instructions for use and precautions carefully.
It is important to remember that essential oils are not indicated during pregnancy, breastfeeding or in children under 6 years of age, unless the product explicitly states that it is suitable in these situations. If you are taking any medication or suffer from a long-term illness, always consult a health professional.
Avoid getting pure essential oil in contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately. Check the name of the botanical species of each essential oil: although some common names are similar, if they are of different species, they may have very different indications and effects.
