First, remove the protective film. Apply the dressing on a clean, dry foot, so that the corn is in the center of the ring. This way, the dressing will protect the affected area from pressure and friction, and provide immediate relief. Dressings should be applied until the corn is removed, for a maximum of 10 to 14 days. Replace the dressing every 24 hours. Once the treatment is finished, the root of the corn can be removed with a foot bath in warm water with salt and soap. The dressings are for single use, for external application on the affected skin area (corn). Do not use the product: in case of known hypersensitivity to salicylic acid, salicylates, or any of the dressing components, in infants and children, on damaged skin (e.g., inflammation, wounds, eczema, etc.), in patients with kidney dysfunction (renal failure), in patients with diabetes, circulation disorders, or inflammation of blood vessels. Salicylic acid may increase the permeability of the skin to other topical medications.
