Description

Calendula oleate. The product is 100% natural extract of Calendula officinalis. Product made from the maceration of Calendula flowers in soybean vegetable oil. In the Calendula oleate we find faradiol and helianol, triterpenic alcohols that give it anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. In addition, it also contains amino sugars such as calenduloside F, which accelerates the process of granular tissue formation and epithelial regeneration, as well as unsaturated fatty acids that provide emollient activity.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is a plant in the Asteraceae family that is used in skin care for its beneficial properties. Also known as pot marigold, it is high in anti-inflammatory substances and antioxidants (flavonoids). It also has antiseptic properties and contributes effectively to heal small wounds and superficial lesions.

This ingredient is mostly used externally in lotions, creams, balms and liquid extracts. Its soothing and moisturising properties make calendula perfect for oily, combination and sensitive skin.
