The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion 30ml
The Ordinary Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion 30ml is an anti-ageing serum that promotes cell regeneration and healthier, smoother skin. It also acts on hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores and signs of ageing. It also helps to increase hydration and regulate sebum production on the face.
This new formula features a combination of retinoids that make it efficient and less abrasive, helping to reduce annoying irritations. It is also vegan, cruelty-free, oil-free, water-free and alcohol-free.
Suitable for all skin types although, being potent, it is recommended that skins inexperienced in the use of this active ingredient develop their tolerance with Retinol 0.2%, to avoid potential redness or flaking.
Apply morning and evening, on clean, dry skin, alone or after water-based serums and before other denser treatments.
Do not combine with other retinoids.
Avoid sun exposure without high protection.
Keep out of children's reach.
Store in the refrigerator or in a cool, dry place.

Retinol is a very interesting ingredient for skin care. It is a derivative of vitamin A and has been proven to have immediate and long-term effects. It is ideal to treat skin with spots, blemishes or skin showing signs of ageing. Why? Because it is one of the only cosmetic ingredients that can reverse oxidative damage in the skin. This results in improvements in hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, firmness and pore size. If you are using a product with this ingredient for the first time, we recommend that you introduce it gradually: 2-3 times a week until your skin gets used to it. It is normal for small irritations or spots to appear during this process (known as retinisation). If this happens, we recommend spacing it out even more until you can use it as indicated by each product (usually every night). It is best not to start using it during the summer if you are just starting. During optimisation, include in your routine a very gentle cleanser and, if needed, a supplementary barrier-strengthening moisturiser (for example, with ceramides or other protective lipids). Don't forget to apply sunscreen in the morning! We also advise you not to mix it with other active ingredients such as acids (AHA, BHA, vitamin C, etc.) in the same routine, unless instructed by your dermatologist. If you have any questions or do not know if this ingredient is suitable for you, consult a professional.
