Urgo Blister Protect Large and Small Dressings 6pcs is a product designed to offer protection for blisters. This dressing is made with a hydrocolloid mass that transforms into a dermo-reconstituting gel, thus promoting the healing process.
Its design includes a thicker central pad that isolates the blister from pressure and friction, providing an effective barrier.
The edges of the dressing are thinner, mimicking the flexibility of the skin. This allows the product to comfortably adapt to the affected area.
It is important to follow certain recommendations for use:
- You should not pierce the blister.
- Regardless of its state, you should clean the blister and its surroundings with soapy water and disinfect with an antiseptic solution that does not contain alcohol.
- You should dry the area well, as moisture can affect the adhesion of the dressing.
To apply the dressing, it is recommended to:
- Warm it between your hands for one minute without removing the protective films.
- Remove the decorated film and apply the dressing without touching the adhesive part, ensuring to smooth the edges.
- Warm the dressing again with your hand to ensure better adhesion.
The dressing should not remain in place for more than 2 to 3 days and it is necessary to remove it if it does not come off by itself. The dressing can be renewed as many times as necessary.
