Tonimer Hypertonic Baby is a Class IIa medical device, a sterile hypertonic solution of seawater.
This product has a decongestant action on the nasal mucosa and helps to thin mucus.
It is specifically indicated for:
The cleaning of the nasal passages in babies and children during colds.
Decongesting the mucous membranes during the acute phases of:
Allergic rhinitis
Sinusitis
Rhinosinusitis
Wash your hands well before using it.
1. After removing the cap, adults and children who are capable
of using the product independently (with adult supervision) can use the container in any position. It is recommended
to position yourself over the sink, tilt your head to one side, and insert the nozzle into the upper nostril. Press the nozzle for 5
seconds to release the product. Repeat the same process with
the other nostril.
2. For newborns and children who need assistance from an adult: lay
the child on their side, insert the nozzle into the upper nostril, and
press for 5 seconds. Place the child on the other side and repeat the process
with the other nostril.
3. After each use, always wash and dry the nozzle and close the
container with its cap.
FREQUENCY OF USE:
repeat the application every 3-4 hours, about 2-3 times a day for 15
days or as directed by a physician.
Label information
Nasal use. For personal use. Do not use the product if the bottle
is damaged. Do not use the product after the expiration date.
The expiration date refers to the intact and properly
stored product. Do not exceed the recommended dose. In case of hypersensitivity
to the components, do not use the product. On rare occasions, during use
a temporary burning sensation of the mucous membranes or a slight nasal
bleeding may occur, which do not compromise the safety or efficacy of the product. In
case of unwanted effects, discontinue use, consult a doctor
and inform the manufacturer. If symptoms persist at the end
of the treatment, consult a doctor. There are no contraindications
related to the use of the product during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
In newborns, use the product only on pediatric recommendation. The administration of inhaled medications and health products
simultaneously with this product should be done under
the supervision of a doctor who can assess possible interactions.
In case of a serious incident related to the administration of one of
the products from the Tonimer Hypertonic Spray line, send a notification to the manufacturer (customercare@ganassini.it), to the Italian Ministry of Health
or to the competent authority of the EU member state or country where
the product has been used. Avoid contact with the eyes; if necessary,
wash them with water. Keep the product out of the reach and sight of
children. Dispose of the product responsibly after use. Store closed away from heat, in a cool and dry place.
