The diversity and properties of essential oils are what make them a powerful therapeutic ally. They undoubtedly bring great benefits in the fields of health, cosmetics and wellness, helping in everyday disorders affecting sleep, bowel movement, the respiratory system, the skin, etc.
Whether used for massage, internally, or through diffusion, is very important to use them properly. They contain powerful phyto-active substances that require rigourous use. The dosage, duration of treatment and administration method indicated by each manufacturer must be strictly followed. For each essential oil in particular, carefully read the instructions for use and precautions.
It is important to remember that essential oils are not indicated during pregnancy, breastfeeding or for children under 6 years, unless the product explicitly states that it is suitable in these situations. If you are taking medication or suffer from a long-term illness, always consult a healthcare professional.
Avoid pure essential oil contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately. Check each essential oil's botanical species: although some common names are similar, if they are from different species, they may have very different indications and effects.
