It is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of Mentha piperita, just before flowering. It has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral, digestive and expectorant properties.

It counteracts fatigue and mental exhaustion. It helps to treat asthma, bronchitis, flu, colds, coughs and nasal congestion. Valued for bad breath and gum infections. It proves effective against headaches or migraines, feverishness, nausea, cramps, back pain, sunburn and digestive problems.

It is useful against pain caused by sports injuries, tendinitis, sciatica and rheumatological processes. Propos Nature does not recommend it for pregnant or breastfeeding women. It should not be used in babies and young children. Not recommended for use in baths.

Mix two drops three times daily with honey.
