Moisturising skin gel

Description

Revolution Skincare Salicylic Balancing Moisturising Gel is a body gel that helps balance the skin's natural oils. Its salicylic acid-enriched composition penetrates pores to help loosen the build-up of dirt and sebum, the main cause of skin imperfections. Its formula with glycerin and betaine attracts moisture to the skin to lock it in place, while other ingredients such as allantoin and inulin condition, hydrate the skin and reduce redness. It is recommended to incorporate this product into your daily facial routine, however, in the case of redness or irritation, it is preferable to discontinue use. This product is vegan, fragrance-free and has not been tested on animals. Recommended for external use only. It is important to avoid contact with eyes.

Instructions for use

Apply and spread on the skin to moisturise and balance.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Glycerin, also known as glycerol, is a viscous, colourless, odourless liquid that is an intermediate product of alcoholic fermentation and is a member of triglycerides. It is highly valued for its moisturising and emollient properties and is therefore widely used in cosmetics.

One of the best-known products with glycerine as a base component is soap. These soaps have a low pH and work as emollient agents on the skin, helping it to maintain and recover its natural moisture level. This is why they are perfect for sensitive or dry skin hygiene.

Glycerin is also present in moisturising creams with an anti-ageing effect, thanks to its ability to soften the skin and increase its elasticity. It has great soothing action, so it effectively reduces irritations, acne marks or small burns, helping accelerate healing. It is also present in shaving lotions, as it reduces friction, as well as in hair care cosmetics such as serums and masks.
