Sura Vitasan Dormo8 Complex 60 caps is a complex formulated with 6 plant extracts, melatonin, and magnesium, which helps promote restorative rest.

Melatonin helps alleviate the subjective feeling of jet lag with a minimum intake of 0.5 mg of melatonin taken shortly before bedtime on the first day of travel and for a few days after arriving at the destination; and to reduce the time needed to fall asleep with an intake of 1 mg of melatonin shortly before bedtime.

Instructions for use

  • As a dietary supplement, it is suggested to take 1 to 3 capsules at bedtime or follow the instructions of a specialist.

  • The product may start to take effect after 3 – 7 days.

  • Dietary supplements should be taken as part of a varied and balanced diet and as part of an active lifestyle.

Melatonin is a hormone secreted by the pineal gland. It helps your body to know when it is time to go to sleep and when it is time to wake up. An imbalance in the production of this hormone (jet lag, change in work shifts, mild and temporary insomnia, etc.) can lead to an alteration in the sleep-wake cycle that can result in difficulty falling asleep.
Dietary supplements containing melatonin are an option to promote a more restful sleep. Their use should be accompanied by sleep hygiene habits: establishing regular schedules, avoiding late dinners, and avoiding caffeine about 6 hours before going to sleep (coffee, tea, dark chocolate, energy drinks, etc.). It is also advisable to avoid using electronic devices at night or exposure to artificial light, as this will inhibit melatonin production.

It is recommended not to use in case of pregnancy or lactation and in patients with immunosuppressive therapy. Consult a professional if you are being treated with oral anticoagulants, antidiabetics, and antiplatelet agents as a dose adjustment may be necessary.

It should not be administered to children under 12 years old.

The concomitant use with other hypnotic-sedative and/or anxiolytic drugs such as barbiturates, benzodiazepines, and H1 antihistamines may enhance the sedative effect, so it should be avoided without medical supervision.

Interactions between Panax Notoginseng and MAOIs as well as with anticoagulants like warfarin have been reported.

The simultaneous use of DORMO8 Complex with alcohol or other CNS depressant medications may enhance the sedative action.
