Vitamin C is necessary to ensure many functions in the body. It is basic for tissue growth and repair and plays a very important role in antioxidant defence.

Vitamins B6 (pyridoxine) and B12 (cobalamin) contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism.

Vitamin B1 (thiamine) contributes to normal heart function.

The phenolic extract of Olea europaea, which includes hydroxytyrosol, oleuropein, tyrosol, caffeic acid, verbascosides and a family of flavonoids, has high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. They contribute to the protection of blood lipids (LDL cholesterol) against oxidative stress.
