Description

LCN Omega Base 120 caps is a dietary supplement formulated with omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. Its composition combines oil from Buglossoides arvensis L. seeds (Ahiflower®), rich in fatty acids such as SDA, GLA, ALA, and LA, with fish oil sourced from sustainable fishing that provides DHA.

It also contains natural tocopherols as a source of vitamin E, which contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage and helps to preserve the stability of the oils present in the product.

Omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids are essential nutrients that the body cannot produce on its own, so they must be obtained through diet. Omega Base provides a balanced combination of these fatty acids to complement their intake in the diet.

  • People taking Acenocoumarol (Sintrom) or Warfarin, if the dose of Omega Base is higher than 2 capsules a day, may sometimes need to adjust the dose of the medication during check-ups, although Omega Base interferes less than other omega 3s because it does not contain EPA.

  • Before a surgical intervention, it is advised not to take Omega Base for 5 days prior to the procedure, and you can resume taking it once the intervention is done. This is a simple precaution since Omega Base does not contain EPA.

  • Omega Base should be stored in the lower part of the refrigerator to avoid loss of properties due to heat, light, and humidity.

  • Like any other dietary supplement, keep Omega Base out of the reach and sight of young children.
