Organic rice ideal for making sushi, with 3 certifications: organic farming, vegan, and kosher.
This rice, of the Selenio variety, is organically grown in the Piemonte region in northwestern Italy, and has characteristics very similar to the Japonica rice used to make sushi in Japan.
Put 1 cup of rice (250gr) for Sushi in cold water and drain. Transfer it to a saucepan with cold water (340ml or one and a half cups), let it stand for 30 minutes and bring it to a boil. Once the water comes to the boil, cover and lower the heat for 10-12 minutes or until the water has been absorbed. Remove from the heat and leave covered for a further 10 minutes.
