Description

Triple action anti-dandruff shampoo, helps to normalize the scalp.

Its formula, rich in keratolytic and soothing active ingredients, allows a fast, effective and long-lasting action on the agents that cause dandruff. It helps to eliminate the symptoms from the first washes. Keratolytic active ingredients, such as salicylic acid, help to eliminate dead cells and prevent the accumulation of flakes on the scalp.

White willow bark extract has an astringent effect on the scalp, keeps the skin in good condition and produces a pleasant feeling of well-being on the skin and hair.

It also relieves the feeling of discomfort on the scalp and makes the hair softer, more supple and shiny, making it easier to comb.

Instructions for use

- Apply to wet hair.
- Massage the scalp.
- Leave on for at least 2 minutes to promote the penetration of the active ingredients.
- Rinse.

Pharmaceutical Advice

Seborrhoeic dermatitis is a skin condition that usually affects the scalp. It can also affect other oily areas of the body such as the face, sides of the nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids and chest.

Persistent scaling with itching or discomfort usually occurs. Its formation is related to excessive activity of the sebaceous glands and alteration of the skin microbiome (overgrowth of fungi of the genus Malassezia). It can be aggravated by the effect of some medications.

Certain factors can trigger the appearance of seborrhoeic dermatitis, so it is advisable to keep them at bay or take preventive measures: stress, extreme temperatures, oily skin or skin with underlying acne, excessive alcohol consumption or obesity.

To improve seborrhoeic dermatitis, it is recommended to use non-irritating face soaps and/or shampoos with specific ingredients to counteract the problem (sebum-regulating, soothing, keratolytic, antipruritic, plant extracts with antiseptic and antifungal properties, etc.). In the case of shampoos, I recommend alternating their use with another very gentle and balancing cleanser. In a facial routine, as well as a specific facial cleanser, complete the treatment with an emulsion that includes some of the ingredients described above, and oil-free sunscreen. I recommend avoiding soaps that are too astringent, as well as cosmetics with too much of an oily phase, so as not to increase the sebum in the skin.
