Coarse Textured Soy is a vegetable protein, dehydrated chunks made from defatted soy flour. It is a source of protein, carbohydrates and isoflavones vital for high quality nutrition. Increases energy without incorporating unhealthy fats. Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from light. May contain traces of gluten, sesame and nuts.
It is recommended to soak until tender (or cook to speed up the process). Drain well, pressing against the strainer to remove water and add to stews as an alternative to meat.
